Project summary:
GroupGSA was commissioned to provide comprehensive landscape architecture and interior design services for the development of MHI’s new venture in this region; Sol by Melia, Cam Ranh Bay.
Neighbouring Vietnam’s ‘beach capital’ Nha Trang, Cam Ranh Bay is a mere 15 minutes from the regions airport and is the resort destination of the region. This white sandy beachfront location draws in global brands such as Radisson, Movenpick, and Fusion Hotel Group, along with our project’s operator, Melia Hotels International, as well as boasting numerous luxury boutique hotels.
Concept Summary:
Working closely with the operators design guidelines and harnessing the colour palette of Cam Ranh Bay’s geographical location, the composition and colour palette forms a distinct link with the ocean, sandy beaches and Hon Ba Nature Reserve; the mountainous backdrop to the bay. A mantra of blue, yellow and orange, with accents of green and brown, wood and stone, form the core rhythm of the project’s colour palette.
Centrally located on the site is the hotel, flanked by 2 condotels across the main family pool and lake housing a floating spa. 40 villas are well spaced along the west boundary of the site, and 30 bungalows and a presidential villa line the east facing beachfront. Equipped with an abundance of amenities including a sports club, gym, multiple restaurants and bars, and exclusive features for premium paying guests.
